Hakob Hakobyan was born on 23.06.1988 in Hospital # 8/ Yerevan. Hakob studied at Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex from the age of 6. He had music and communication skills when he was at school. He participated in numerous recitation Olympiads and stage performances as a singer, actor and TV host during his school years. Hakob started working at the Public Radio of Armenia as a TV host at the age of 15 and later on, at the same age, he began his first steps on TV- on the National Music Channel and on TV program, called "New Times". From the age of 6 Hakob started attending the Armenian folk dance group "Sevan" up to 15 years old. Afterwards, he continued dancing in "Berd" dance ensemble up to 23 years old. Television became very important for Hakob. He decided to enter Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography in order to learn more about television. In 2004 Hakob began to study profession of TV director at the mentioned state institute.
Hakob continued his education with the same specialty and received a master's degree after graduating from the institute with a diploma in 2009. Hakob filmed several documentaries, short films, winning various awards at different film festivals during his student years. Hakob also worked actively as volunteer in various theater and film festivals. Hakob started combining lessons and studies with work at the beginning of these years. He started working on television. He worked as a TV host (from 2006 to 2008) at “Yerevan” TV channel, then as a TV host, director, producer, screenwriter (from 2009 to 2017) at ATV. In the past few years, Hakob became famous as a TV host for a number of TV projects: “Oops”, “Hidden Oops”, “Mini Oops”, “Mystery of Animals”, “Barter”, “Hungry Games” and “Voice of Armenia”. Hakob presented the project "Sex in the Small City" as a director, as well as, he was the producer of the project, called "Let’s Marry”. Then Hakob also introduced himself as an actor in the "Qare Dard" TV series (comedy), embodying the character of Mamuk. Later on, another offer was followed; it was "Abel's sister" TV series where he acted as one of the main characters - a boy whose name was Sevak. Hakob teaches telecasting art at Gayane Paityan's school from 2017 up to now. Hakob started developing his career as a singer introducing himself in a duet with Armen Hovhannisyan in 2016. Their musical career began in 2016 with the song "My brother and I" and went on up to these days. They had numerous songs, video clips, solo concerts, tours. Now Hakob Hakobyan is a very successful singer in Armenian show business. Hakob and Armen Hovhannisyan perform lots of songs in patriotic, folk and pop genres. They were rewarded with different prizes:

Armen Hovhannisyan was born on 08.04.1989 in Yerevan. At the age of 6, Armen went to school named after Khachik Dashtents in Yerevan. Love for art became obvious at school. He was interested in literature, history and especially in singing. He started to introduce himself as a singer during school years, singing mostly folk and patriotic songs in various events. Armen began to attend springboard trainings from the age of 7 to 14 and later, he won the first prize at several competitions. At the same time, Armen Hovhannisyan attended a dance group. It was Sophie Devoyan's soul and dance school. After graduating from school, Armen entered the Academy of Finance and studied economics. Realizing that he didn’t feel comfortable as an economist, Armen returned to the art of singing. In 2006 he entered Yerevan State Conservatory. He studied here for six years. Then Armen Hovhannisyan went to army. He served as a soloist at the military ensemble of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia for 2 years. In 2013 Armen Hovhannisyan participated in the “Voice of Armenia” music project and reached the semifinals. This project brought great recognition to Armen and became the beginning of his musical career. After the end of the project, Armen shot several video clips based on songs written for him which also had a great impact on the singer's career. Armen Hovhannisyan introduced a duet with Hakob Hakobyan started from 2016. This project helped Armen Hovhannisyan to confirm his position in the Armenian show business. He started singing patriotic and folk songs together with Hakob Hakobyan. This had great feedback among Armenians spread all over the world. They started making tours and had numerous concerts for Armenian audience in different countries around the world. Hakob Hakobyan and Armen Hovhannisyan continue their joint career.
